BOLTTE 45 Steel & 304 Stainless Steel Split Rigid Shaft Couplings

BOLTTE split rigid shaft couplings join aligned shafts in motors, fans, pumps and general power-transmission assemblies. The two-piece clamping construction can be installed or removed without sliding the coupling over the shaft end.

Material and size guide

  • Choose either 45 steel or 304 stainless steel.
  • Outer diameter, overall length, finished bore and keyway size are shown in the configuration selector.
  • Options without a listed keyway are supplied as plain-bore configurations.
  • The Custom Size Machining Deposit is a deposit for dimension review and machining; it is not the full finished-product price.

Split rigid couplings: material, bore and keyway are separate choices

This listing separates 45 steel and 304 stainless-steel configurations, with plain-bore and explicitly keyed options. Use the complete selected label rather than just the outside diameter.

Selection detailWhat to check
Bore 14 mm without a keyway labelThe listing identifies unkeyed options as plain bore.
Bore 14 mm / Keyway 5 mmAn explicitly keyed configuration; confirm the complete shaft interface.
Custom Size Machining DepositA deposit for review and machining, not the full price of a finished custom coupling.

Can the two-piece form be installed without sliding over a shaft end?

The listed split construction supports that installation approach. Still confirm radial access, clamping space, shaft fit and alignment before choosing the model.

Ordering and installation

  • Select the required material, outer diameter, overall length, bore and keyway configuration.
  • For custom machining, provide the shaft diameter, coupling envelope and keyway dimensions in the order requirements.
  • Confirm shaft tolerance, transmitted torque, rotational speed, fastener clearance and operating environment before ordering.
  • Align both shafts carefully and tighten the clamping screws evenly to the specified torque.
