STP35 vs STP60: Cup and Assembly Buying Guide

Sep 19, 2026 BOLTTE

Choose between STP35 and STP60 by matching the cup geometry and mounting to your bag-opening setup, then choose whether you need a threaded cup configuration, a cup-only replacement or an assembly. The size name alone is not a complete purchasing specification. Check the full option label and its drawing before ordering.

Start with the item you actually need to replace

A replacement order can go wrong even when the cup family is correct. A worn sealing cup, a threaded cup configuration and a vacuum-generator assembly are different items. Photograph the existing part from the side and the sealing face. Record its full marking, mounting interface and installed height. If the marking is missing, provide measurements rather than choosing only by appearance.

The BOLTTE STP35/STP60 product page lists these model groups separately:

Order-item differences in the current BOLTTE selector
Model groupWhat to confirm
STP35-G2M / STP35-G2FThe STP35 male or female threaded configuration, listed silicone colour, and dimensions in the selected drawing.
STP60-G3M / STP60-G3FThe corresponding STP60 configuration. Verify its own mounting and clearance; do not transfer assumptions from the STP35 option.
STP35 / STP60 Cup OnlyThe replacement cup and its fit to your existing holder. A cup-only option is not the complete generator assembly.
STP35-BM30-B / STP60-BM30-BThe exact assembly model, selected cup version and supplied components shown for that option.
BM20-B-M18 — STP35 White Cup AssemblyA separately listed assembly configuration; check it independently from the BM30-B models.
BM30-B — Built-In SilencerA separate component option, not a substitute for a cup or complete cup assembly.

Does a larger cup always work better?

No. The sealing area must fit the usable surface on the bag. Seams, zippers, folds, edges and wrinkles can interrupt the seal. A larger cup can cover more of these features, and thin film can deform during pickup. Start with the available seal area and the machine's motion, not a general assumption that the larger model will grip better.

Compare the drawing, available clearance, pickup position and opening stroke. Validate the selected configuration using representative bags at the intended operating cycle. This guide does not assign a load rating or promise that either family is suitable for every film.

What measurements should go with the model name?

  • Existing cup dimensions and available flat pickup area.
  • Male or female connection, thread specification and mounting arrangement.
  • Installed height, clearance and any required spring or level compensation.
  • Bag construction, thickness, seams and surface texture near the pickup point.
  • Vacuum source and operating conditions relevant to the opening cycle.

Use the model-specific drawing for numerical dimensions. A short code, colour or similar-looking photo is not enough to establish interchangeability. Where direct food contact or another compliance requirement applies, ask for model-specific documentation before purchasing; this guide makes no certification claim.

How to place a small or repeat order

Choose the full option label and quantity on the product page. If ordering several versions, list each model and quantity separately rather than giving only a combined total. Keep the confirmed model or SKU in your maintenance records so the next replacement order refers to the same item.

For a first installation or a changed bag material, discuss a suitable sample quantity before a larger purchase. A successful test on one bag or at low speed does not establish reliable production performance across every workpiece and cycle.

What should a batch quotation include?

Send the exact models, quantities, final delivery country and postal code, and the required arrival date. Tell BOLTTE in advance if your purchasing team needs vendor registration or supporting documents. Availability, batch pricing and documentation must be confirmed for the particular order.

Distinguish dispatch time from transit time. Refer to the current shipping and return policy and the services available at checkout. For a quotation, confirm the named receiving destination and freight and tax scope in writing, especially if you use a forwarding address.

Next step

View current STP35/STP60 options, or send your model and dimensions for confirmation. For pickup placement and leakage checks, use the existing bag-opening selection guide.
