BOLTTE 45 Steel & 304 Stainless Steel Split Rigid Shaft Couplings
BOLTTE split rigid shaft couplings join aligned shafts in motors, fans, pumps and general power-transmission assemblies. The two-piece clamping construction can be installed or removed without sliding the coupling over the shaft end.
Material and size guide
- Choose either 45 steel or 304 stainless steel.
- Outer diameter, overall length, finished bore and keyway size are shown in the configuration selector.
- Options without a listed keyway are supplied as plain-bore configurations.
- The Custom Size Machining Deposit is a deposit for dimension review and machining; it is not the full finished-product price.
Ordering and installation
- Select the required material, outer diameter, overall length, bore and keyway configuration.
- For custom machining, provide the shaft diameter, coupling envelope and keyway dimensions in the order requirements.
- Confirm shaft tolerance, transmitted torque, rotational speed, fastener clearance and operating environment before ordering.
- Align both shafts carefully and tighten the clamping screws evenly to the specified torque.
