TECHNICAL NOTES

Understand this category.

01

Process & application

Custom pickup interfaces are developed around the actual workpiece. Metal or plastic nozzle bodies and soft suction lips are reviewed as separate manufacturing features.

02

Material considerations

Nozzle bodies: reviewed stainless steel, brass, aluminum, POM or PTFE. Contact lips: specified silicone, rubber or polyurethane compounds, subject to application review.

03

Design & mating interfaces

Define the pickup face, internal bore, mounting thread and overall length. Cup geometry, hardness and lip design depend on workpiece shape, surface and leakage. Non-marking or ESD requirements need explicit material and test specifications.

04

Inspection & validation

Drawing dimensions, bore continuity and interface fit; sealing and pickup trials on the real workpiece. Holding force and surface marking are evaluated under agreed test conditions.

Inspection methods and reports are provided only when agreed in the order.

05

What to include with your drawing

Send a drawing or sample reference, workpiece photos and mass, contact-surface condition, vacuum / flow context and mounting dimensions. Define cleaning, temperature and marking limits where relevant.

Use a current drawing revision and state units. Quantity, material and critical tolerances help the team prepare the quote; extra form fields are not required.

Materials, tolerances, inspection, quantity and lead time are agreed per quotation. No general precision or certification claim applies to every part.

Before you send a request

Does this page promise a fixed tolerance or delivery date?

No. The drawing, process, material, quantity and inspection plan are reviewed before those details are confirmed in a quotation.

Can I preview my drawing in 3D?

STEP / STP and other supported 3D CAD files can be rotated and zoomed. Flat drawings remain 2D.
