CUSTOM GEAR RFQ

Custom Helical Gears

Helical gear enquiries reviewed from drawings or samples, including helix angle, hand, mating arrangement and mounting geometry.

Custom RFQ only Custom gears are quoted after drawing or sample review rather than sold as stock items. Specifications are confirmed in the written quotation.

Typical enquiry contexts

  • Automation equipment
  • Industrial machinery
  • Repair and replacement
  • Product development

Product description and customization scope

Submit module or diametral pitch, tooth count, pressure angle, helix angle and hand, bore and hub geometry, face width, material, treatment, accuracy requirements and quantity. Mating-gear and center-distance information supports engineering review.

Technical information reviewed for Custom Helical Gears
Module or diametral pitch Provide the drawing value when known. For replacement work, submit the sample information for review.
Number of teeth Define in the drawing or provide the existing part for measurement review.
Pressure angle Specify the required value or mating-gear information. It is not assumed by this page.
Bore, keyway and hub Include dimensions, fits, datum references and any assembly constraints.
Face width State the required width and related shoulder or clearance details.
Helix angle and hand Specify the angle, right- or left-hand direction and mating arrangement when applicable.
Material State the grade when defined, or provide load, wear, temperature and operating-environment requirements for review.
Heat treatment / hardness Specify the required treatment, hardness range, depth or governing standard. Availability is confirmed in the quotation.
Accuracy grade Identify the standard and grade, together with any backlash, runout or inspection requirements.
Surface finish List tooth-flank, bore and general surface requirements, plus coating or corrosion-protection needs.
Quantity Provide prototype, initial and expected repeat quantities so the manufacturing route can be reviewed.

Materials, processing and quality requirements

The following areas are configurable project inputs, not blanket capability claims.

Material selection

Customer-specified metals, copper alloys or engineering plastics are checked against geometry, load, wear and environment before confirmation.

Treatment & finish

Heat treatment, hardness, coating and surface finish are quoted only when the required values or functional targets are defined.

Inspection

Dimensional and applicable gear-feature inspection is planned around the drawing, standard and acceptance criteria.

Quality documents

Request material, treatment, dimensional, traceability or other quality records in the RFQ so availability can be confirmed.

Project workflow

  1. 01Drawing / sampleSubmit the available geometry and application information.
  2. 02Technical reviewOpen questions and feasibility are checked.
  3. 03Written quotationScope, specifications, price and timing are documented.
  4. 04ManufacturingProduction starts after quotation and specification approval.
  5. 05InspectionAgreed checks and documents are completed before shipment.

Custom Helical Gears FAQ

Can I request a quote without every technical value?

Yes. Send the information you have, along with the application and mating-part details. BOLTTE will identify missing inputs during review, but no specification is assumed automatically.

Can this page be used to order a standard stock gear?

No. This is a custom RFQ page, so stock quantity, online price and cart actions do not apply. Listed vacuum nozzles continue to use the normal online-store checkout.

How are accuracy, hardness and inspection requirements handled?

State the governing standard, grade, hardness and inspection scope in the drawing or RFQ. BOLTTE confirms what can be supplied in the written quotation.

Can I request material and inspection documents?

Yes. List each required document before quotation. Availability, scope and cost are confirmed with the project rather than promised generically.
