Technical information required for quotation
Drawing or model: dimensioned PDF plus STEP/STP, IGES, DWG or DXF files when available. State the controlling drawing number and revision.
Application: equipment type, installation position, function, operating environment and whether the part is a new design or replacement.
Dimensions and interfaces: overall size, bores, shafts, flanges, bolt circles, mounting holes, threads, slots, grooves, chamfers and mating components.
Material: PTFE grade, filler or reinforcement, color and any required certification or regulatory specification.
Tolerances: dimensional tolerances, fits, datums, flatness, perpendicularity, concentricity, runout and other critical geometric controls.
Operating conditions: temperature, pressure, load, speed, friction, contact media, chemical exposure, cleanliness and service life where relevant.
Surface and identification: finish, edge condition, marking, cleaning, packaging and traceability requirements.
Inspection and documentation: critical-dimension reports, material documents, first-article requirements or other agreed acceptance records.
Quantity and delivery: prototype quantity, order quantity, expected repeat volume, requested delivery date and destination.
