Pistol-Grip Single-Cup Suction Tools
A compact hand-operated suction tool provides a temporary grip on a suitable smooth workpiece. Choose blue, red or black body colour. Each option has the same source drawing dimensions and includes one tool.
Dimensions and construction
The individual drawings show a 70 mm (2.756 in) sealing-pad diameter, a 75 mm (2.953 in) indicated top span and a 125 mm (4.921 in) overall height. The source notes that these dimensions are approximate and may vary by +/-5 mm. The tool combines a pistol-shaped grip, operating lever, release control and a thick rubber suction pad. The descriptive words on the handle identify a suction cup; no supplier brand is offered.
Applications
Suitable tasks include controlled temporary grip, positioning and light hand handling of smooth glass, tile, coated panels or similar non-porous workpieces. The supplied illustrations show different mounting angles and hand-grip use. Do not infer a certified lifting capacity, a non-marking guarantee on every surface or overhead lifting suitability from the promotional source images. Verify the actual surface and required handling force before use.
Use and release
- Clean and dry the sealing pad and the workpiece. Inspect the lip for damage or contamination.
- Seat the pad squarely on a flat, smooth, non-porous area and operate the grip mechanism according to the tool instructions.
- Check that the grip is firm before applying a controlled handling force. Keep the load supported if detachment would cause damage.
- Support the workpiece, use the release control to admit air and then remove the pad. Do not force the tool away against an unreleased seal.
Package and care
One suction tool in the selected colour is supplied. Glass, tiles, panels and other props in the source pictures are not included. Keep the pad clean and protected during storage. Rough, porous, curved, dusty or wet surfaces may not seal consistently. Test delicate coatings for surface compatibility.
