MZE Black PU-Coated Geared Rollers, 35 mm Contact Diameter
These rollers combine two black polyurethane contact pads, a central metal spur gear and two 6801ZZ bearings. The source drawings specify a 6061 aluminum core. They are components for a compatible mechanical feeding, conveying or synchronized roller arrangement; select the gear mesh and shaft support for the actual machine.
Understand the Model Before Ordering
In MZE-35×W-6801-L, 35 is the coated outside diameter, W is the width of each of the two contact pads, 6801 is the bearing reference and L is the overall assembly length. W is not the full roller length. The listed combinations use L = 2W + 40 mm; the original drawing separately shows the central gear and relief sections.

Installation and Inspection
- Confirm both pad widths, overall length, 12 mm bearing bore and exact mating gear geometry.
- Use suitable shaft support, spacers and axial retention. Protect the PU contact surfaces and load the correct bearing ring during assembly.
- Align the gear mesh and check controlled backlash, contact pattern, free rotation and pad tracking before applying working load.
- Guard moving gears and test at controlled speed. Inspect bearing heat, vibration, wear and workpiece marking. Isolate the machine before adjustment.
