MHS3 Three-Jaw Pneumatic Grippers, K8-3 Adjustable Jaws and Bases
MHS3-25D, MHS3-32D and MHS3-40D pneumatic grippers with blue silicone-padded adjustable jaws. Choose complete gripper sets, cylinders only, replacement jaw assemblies, lower bases or the separate D-Z73 reed sensor.
The cylinder body is aluminum alloy. The illustrated fixture supports three-point external gripping or internal expansion for suitable round workpieces. Each configuration is sold separately. Confirm the complete fixture, mounting, air supply and workpiece requirements before ordering.

Full sets include one cylinder and three complete jaw assemblies. Cylinder-only options do not include extended jaw assemblies. Jaw and lower-base options are sets of three. D-Z73 is a separately sold reed sensor specified by the supplied source for 32D and 40D. The 25D drawings mention optional A6K/D-DF switches; this does not establish D-Z73 compatibility with 25D or include any switch in the gripper set.

Mounting and component details
Full-set illustrated height/body height/body outside diameter: 25D 86/40/42; 32D 90/44/52; 40D 93/47/62. Bare-cylinder source weights: 25D 137 g, 32D 236 g, 40D 355 g. The cylinder drawings show 2 mm-wide, 2 mm-deep sensor grooves and two M5 x 0.8 air ports. The supplied source specifies two M5-6 straight fittings as standard; elbow fittings can be requested when ordering.
The common upper jaw drawings show 7.5, 8, 27, 23 and 10 mm dimensions. Short upper jaws have a 12.5 mm base height and 32 mm illustrated length. Complete jaw assemblies have a 20.5 mm base height and 40 or 50 mm base length as selected.
Lower bases are 40 or 50 mm long, 10 mm wide and 7.5 mm thick. 25D-40: two countersunk Ø5.5/through Ø3 holes, three M4 threads, six M3 screws. 25D-50: two countersunk Ø5.5/through Ø3 holes, four M4 threads, two M3 plus four M4 screws. 32D/40D-50: two countersunk Ø7/through Ø4 holes, five M4 threads, six M4 screws. 25D jaw assemblies show six M4 plus six M3 screws; 32D/40D assemblies show twelve M4 screws.
Bare-cylinder underside mounting: 25D and 32D three M4 x 0.7 threads, depth 6; 40D three M5 x 0.8 threads, depth 7.5. Top threads: 25D six M3 x 0.5; 32D and 40D six M4 x 0.7 as labeled by the source. Open/closed illustrated centers: 25D 10/7, 32D 12/8, 40D 13/9. Through holes: 25D/32D three Ø4.5, 40D three Ø5.5. The 40D drawing uses different top and underside thread sizes; both source labels are retained.
Installation and selection
Check the exact model, included components, hole pattern, stroke clearance, workpiece size and air/control-system compatibility. No verified operating pressure, temperature, cycle-life or sensor electrical rating is supplied. Do not use the illustrated grip-force values as a safe working-load specification. Application workpieces are not included.
