Custom Right-Angle Gearboxes

Non-standard right-angle gearboxes and bevel-gear transmission assemblies made to your drawing, sample or application requirements. We can review the gearbox housing, shafts, bearings, gears and mounting interfaces as one matched assembly.

  • Custom bevel gear pairs, shafts, bores, keyways, splines and mounting patterns
  • CNC-machined housings, covers, bearing seats and inspection features
  • Suitable for prototypes, replacement assemblies and small- or repeat-batch production

Design details we can review

  • Input and output speed, torque, ratio, rotation direction, center distance and required service factor.
  • Housing envelope, shaft arrangement, bearing type, lubrication method, sealing and mounting orientation.
  • Gear material and heat treatment, shaft material, housing alloy, surface finish and corrosion protection.
  • Backlash, noise, temperature, duty cycle and operating environment where these affect the design.

Recommended information for quotation

Please send a PDF drawing and, when available, a STEP/DWG/DXF file. Include the target ratio, input/output torque and speed, rotation direction, dimensions, material, quantity, critical tolerances, finish and application details. For a replacement gearbox, clear photos, nameplate information and an undamaged sample can support our engineering review.

Production and quality workflow

  1. Review the drawing, sample and transmission requirements.
  2. Confirm feasibility, materials, gear geometry, quotation and lead time.
  3. Approve the drawing and produce a prototype or first article when required.
  4. Machine the housing and shafts, cut or finish the gears, assemble and lubricate.
  5. Inspect dimensions, fit, rotation and assembly requirements against the approved drawing, then pack and ship.

Custom-order note: Final price and lead time depend on ratio, torque, materials, machining complexity, tolerance, quantity and finishing requirements. Product images show representative capabilities; the delivered gearbox will follow the approved drawing and written quotation.
