SMT Nozzle Brass Mounting Sleeves
Cylindrical brass connection sleeves for mounting vacuum-nozzle holders in SMT pick-and-place, labeling and automated small-part handling setups. Choose the bore that matches your equipment and check the original engineering drawing before ordering.
What You Receive
One brass mounting sleeve in the selected bore configuration. The source photographs show a black sealing ring and side retaining-screw holes. No spring-loaded holder, vacuum cup or complete nozzle assembly is included. The cover shows two views of the same sleeve, not a two-piece pack. Assembly photographs in the details illustrate installation only.
Option Selection and Dimensions
| Bore | Nozzle connection | Drawing outer diameter | Drawing height | Anti-rotation feature |
|---|
| 4.5 mm / 0.177 in | 6 mm / 0.236 in | 14 mm / 0.551 in | 17 mm / 0.669 in | No pin shown |
| 5 mm / 0.197 in | 6 mm / 0.236 in | 14 mm / 0.551 in | 18 mm / 0.709 in | Pin shown |
Source dimension note: both option names specify nominal H17 (17 mm / 0.669 in). The 4.5 mm bore drawing also shows 17 mm, while the 5 mm bore drawing shows 18 mm / 0.709 in and an anti-rotation pin. The original drawing values are retained without alteration. Verify the required height and pin clearance before ordering; the 17/18 mm difference is not a stated manufacturing tolerance.
Mounting and Fit Checks
- Select the 4.5 mm / 0.177 in or 5 mm / 0.197 in bore as required by the actual mounting interface.
- Check the 6 mm / 0.236 in connection, 14 mm / 0.551 in outer dimension and available installation clearance against the drawing.
- The 5 mm option drawing shows an anti-rotation pin. Check its position and mating feature; the 4.5 mm drawing does not show this pin.
- Check the condition of the sealing ring, screw holes and bore; make sure the sleeve is securely retained and test the vacuum connection before production.
- No screw thread size, fit tolerance, pressure rating, load rating or pin dimension is specified in the source. Do not assume compatibility from appearance alone.
Material, Care and Scope
The sleeve has the original yellow metal finish and is described as copper-alloy/brass material. No exact alloy grade or surface-treatment specification is provided. Keep the connection clean and inspect for damage or wear. Use the model-specific photographs and drawings to select the correct part. No temperature rating, electrical antistatic value, food-contact or medical certification is provided.
