Applications and Suitable Workpieces

These replacement suction cups and nozzles are intended for feeding, separating, lifting and transferring paper-based workpieces in printing and postpress equipment. Select the exact model by material, diameter, bore and machine interface rather than by color alone.

Recommended applications

  • Single-sheet pickup and separation of paper, printed signatures, book blocks, covers, labels and light cardboard.
  • Bookbinding, perfect-binding, folding, collating, saddle-stitching, case-making, die-cutting and other print-finishing feeder stations.
  • Heidelberg-, Kolbus- and TSK-compatible replacement positions only where the listed dimensions and mounting interface match the existing machine part.
  • Repeated high-cycle paper handling where mark-free pickup, reliable sheet separation and wear resistance are important.

Material and model guidance

  • Polyurethane and wear-resistant compounds: preferred for high-cycle operation and abrasive paper or board where long service life is important.
  • Silicone: suitable for flexible sealing on paper, printed stock and coated sheets; confirm that the selected hardness and contact behavior are appropriate for the printed surface.
  • Latex and soft rubber: useful for lightweight, uneven, wavy or pre-folded paper where a softer lip can improve conformity.
  • Multi-layer nozzles: provide additional stroke and height compensation for stacks, covers or workpieces with level variation.
  • Verify the actual paper weight, porosity, coating, ink condition, cup spacing, vacuum level and cycle speed. Porous stock and air-permeable cardboard may require multiple cups or a higher-flow vacuum system.
