41-Series 12V DC Diaphragm Water Pumps and Kits
Four-chamber diaphragm pumps with pressure-switch and bypass control, offered as pump-and-fitting sets, 6.5 m washdown-hose kits or accumulator-tank kits. Choose the 12.5 L/min short housing or 17 L/min long housing. These are 41-series pumps; the existing 42-series listing is a different product family.
Model and Electrical References
| Model | Supply | Source maximum flow | Stop-pressure reference | Operating-current reference |
|---|
| SFDP1-033-035-41 | 12V DC | 12.5 L/min / 3.3 US gpm | 35 PSI / approx.2.4 bar | 3.75 A (source table) |
| SFDP1-045-040-41 | 12V DC | 17.0 L/min / 4.5 US gpm | 40 PSI / approx.2.8 bar | 5.90 A (source table) |
Maximum flow and stop pressure are separate reference conditions, not simultaneous delivered performance. Operating-current figures are supplier-table references. The photographed long-pump label states AMPS 6.0 A and MAX.AMPS 16.0 A; the family table gives different operating/maximum figures without identifying the test conditions. No universal fuse rating is inferred. Select wiring, fuse protection and supply capacity using the actual supplied pump label and its exact model installation guide. The source describes EPDM valves, a Santoprene diaphragm and a quick-attach port system. Do not infer a universal run time, potable-water approval, chemical compatibility or vessel certification from family photographs.
Choose the Supplied Configuration
| Configuration | Included scope |
|---|
| 12V / 12.5 L/min / Pump + fittings | Selected pump, pictured adapters and inlet strainer |
| 12V / 17 L/min / Pump + fittings | Selected pump, pictured adapters and inlet strainer |
| 12V / 12.5 L/min / 6.5 m washdown hose kit | Selected pump, spray nozzle,6.5 m discharge hose and pictured fittings/strainer |
| 12V / 17 L/min / 6.5 m washdown hose kit | Selected pump, spray nozzle,6.5 m discharge hose and pictured fittings/strainer |
| 12V / 12.5 L/min / 0.75 L accumulator kit | Selected pump, named accumulator tank and pictured fittings/strainer |
| 12V / 17 L/min / 1 L accumulator kit | Selected pump, named accumulator tank and pictured fittings/strainer |
A hose kit includes approximately 6.5 m (21.325 ft) of coiled washdown hose and the pictured spray nozzle. The short accumulator selection names a 0.75 L tank; the long selection names a 1 L tank. Tank capacity is nominal volume, not usable drawdown. The supplied source depicts tank connections and loose accessories, rather than a fully preassembled water system. Power supply, battery, vessel plumbing and mounting fasteners are not included unless pictured in the selected kit.
Dimensions and Connections
| Housing | Original drawing envelope | Mounting-centre reference |
|---|
| Short | 210 x102 x98.5 mm /8.268 x4.016 x3.878 in | 79 mm /3.110 in |
| Long | 255 x102 x98.5 mm /10.039 x4.016 x3.878 in | 123 mm /4.843 in |
The original sketches mark 5 mm (0.197 in) mounting holes,25.5 mm (1.004 in) references and quick-attach ports designated 3/4 inch. Model-specific drawings are bound to the matching pump options. Added inch values are calculated from metric dimensions and rounded to three decimals; some original inch labels are rounded differently. A nominal quick-attach designation is not a BSP/NPT thread specification. The pictured adapters are labelled 41F001 elbow hose fitting,41F004 male-thread fitting,41F003 straight hose fitting and52S02 inlet strainer. Hose-side/male-thread nominal labels are 1/2 inch; confirm actual mating components before ordering.
Installation and Operation
- Isolate DC power before installing or servicing. Match the selected 12V model to a suitable protected supply and follow the exact wiring, polarity and fuse instructions.
- Mount on a supported surface with the rubber feet, leave access to the strainer and connections, and support hoses so they do not load the plastic pump head.
- Use the inlet strainer and suitable hose/adapters. Check the arrows and exact port orientation on the actual pump. Do not assume an unrestricted inlet or universal suction lift.
- For a washdown kit, connect and secure the hose and spray nozzle before energizing. Supervise the discharge and inspect for leakage or excessive cycling.
- For an accumulator kit, follow the tank and pump instructions. Check air precharge with the fluid side depressurized and match it to the pump cut-in specification. Never loosen or service a pressurized tank.
- Test with a compatible clean liquid, purge air, then confirm pressure-switch start/stop and stable operation. Do not adjust the bypass or pressure switch without the model-specific procedure.
Use and Maintenance Limits
The original feature material describes self-priming and brief dry-running tolerance; no duration or test condition is supplied, so this listing does not authorize continuous dry running. Stop before the inlet runs dry and follow the duty-cycle and cooling requirements in the manual. No maximum fluid temperature, ingress rating or drinking-water approval is established by the supplied material. Verify compatibility before use with detergents, salt water, additives or other liquids, and do not use for fuels or flammable liquids. Follow the warning label on the actual pump.
Inspect the inlet strainer, connections, cables and mounting feet regularly. Disconnect power and relieve pressure before cleaning or replacing parts. Protect against freezing and follow the approved draining/storage procedure. Original photographs, engineering lines and technical labels are retained.
