AAZ Vented Polyurethane Bag-Press Heads

AAZ heads combine a 304 stainless-steel metal body with a polyurethane contact face. The source identifies them as vented bag-press components. The photographs show two threaded ports on the metal body and an opening in the PU face. Select the complete thread, size and hardness for your equipment.

Available Models

Five metric-thread/size families are offered with the listed hardness choices, for fourteen selections. M10 is currently offered in 50A and 60A; the other listed sizes have 50A, 60A and 70A options. Hardness is a Shore A material value. The pale PU appearance in a family photograph does not identify hardness; use the written model and selected drawing. One selected head is supplied per option.

Understanding the Drawings

The drawing directly labels the thread size, thread pitch, PU contact diameter, overall length, hardness and thread length. The metal thread holes are marked as blind holes: the drawing note states they must not break through the opposite wall. The PU-face opening is a separate feature. Do not interpret this as an unrestricted through-threaded nut.

Use the exact selected drawing for the PU-section length and other detail dimensions. Millimetres are the ordering reference, with approximate inch conversions using 25.4 mm per inch.

Purpose and Application

The PU face provides the contact surface in a compatible bag-pressing or positioning assembly, while the metal body provides the threaded interfaces. Review the vent passage, mounting arrangement, contact area, motion and required contact behavior as a complete system. This is a machine component, not a complete actuator or a vacuum holding system.

Selection and Installation

1. Confirm the full model, hardness, female-thread diameter/pitch and available thread engagement.
2. Check contact diameter, overall length, body clearance and all selected drawing details against the existing mechanism.
3. Keep the intended vent passage clear. Confirm the actual connection and sealing arrangement for your equipment.
4. Isolate the machine before installation. Avoid bottoming a mounting screw in a blind thread and use the metal body for wrench access.
5. Validate alignment, retention and contact behavior under controlled operating conditions.
