TM608 Flanged Indexing Plungers
Manual pull-knob locating pins with a two-hole mounting flange. Choose the pin diameter and protruding pin length, the pin material, and spring-return or lock-out operation. One selected plunger is supplied. The large cover shows original family photographs; each model selection has its own original dimensional drawing and product photograph.

Pulling the knob retracts the locating pin. A spring-return version extends again when the knob is released. A lock-out version can retain the pin in the retracted position by engaging its indexing ridge; release that position to let the spring extend the pin. Confirm the actual knob travel and indexing action on the supplied part. The mounting-hole drawing shows 90-degree countersinks; this angle is not a promised knob rotation angle.

The model size means pin diameter d1 x extended pin-length reference l1. It is not flange size, mounting pitch, total assembly height or retraction stroke. The source calls out a retracted-pin example with l1 = d1; use the actual model drawing to interpret its endpoints. Added inch values use 25.4 mm per inch and three-decimal rounding. The original metric dimensions and tolerances govern fit.

Every offered configuration retains its original front, section and flange-plan views below. Check the selected drawing for body diameter, knob diameter, overall height, plate thickness and pin references before drilling or specifying a replacement. The 8x10 and 10x20 TM608C options have black-flange photographs and their own larger flange drawing; do not substitute the standard bright-flange 8 mm drawing. The 10x10 TM608A option also has a separate larger flange drawing. No general table is used to override these individual drawings.
Materials and Appearance
The source specifies S45C black-oxide pins for TM608/TM608B and natural-finish SUS304 pins for TM608A/TM608C. Stainless pin material does not mean the whole assembly is stainless. The standard family flange is described as die-cast zinc with a zinc-plated, blue-passivated finish. The special black-flange TM608C options have a different pictured finish; their exact flange material/coating should be confirmed for a finish-critical application. Standard black knobs are described as polyamide (PA) plastic with a matte finish. The separate white-knob 6x6 TM608B option is listed as white plastic; no specific resin grade is inferred for it.
Selection and Installation
- Choose the correct diameter, pin length, pin material and operating type. Check the flange, hole pitch and available knob clearance against the selected drawing.
- Mount on a supported, aligned surface using compatible countersunk fasteners and a suitable mating hole. Fasteners and mating components are not specified as included.
- Keep the pin aligned with its mating hole. Do not force engagement under misalignment or use the knob as a lifting point.
- After fitting, check full engagement, free retraction and spring return. On lock-out models, check both retained and released positions before use.
- Keep debris away from the pin and moving surfaces. Inspect for wear, corrosion or loosened mounting parts and maintain the assembly according to the actual application requirements.

Choose one fully specified model button. The supplier's ordering-example and category-heading rows are omitted because they are not product configurations. The two source options described as special custom versions are sold here only in their listed 8x10 and 10x20 mm sizes; other geometry needs separate confirmation. No unverified load, temperature, cycle-life, corrosion-life or safety-certification claim is made. These locating pins are not specified as independently certified safety interlocks.
