Spring-Leaf T-Slot Nuts for Aluminum Profiles, EU and CN References

Non-standard custom made. Spring-leaf slot nuts for aluminum extrusion frames, enclosures and fixture assemblies. Select the exact profile reference, metric thread and nut-body material. The spring tab helps retain position in the slot during assembly. Each order unit supplies one nut. Bolts, extrusions and other hardware are not included.

Selection and Compatibility

  • EU and CN are supplier profile-interface references, not a certification to a named standard. The reference number is not the finished nut length.
  • EU 20, EU30/40 universal reference, dedicated EU40 and EU45 have distinct body dimensions. CN30 and CN40 single-point types use different geometry.
  • Nickel-plated carbon-steel and supplier-designated 304 stainless-steel bodies are separate options. No universal strength class or certificate is implied. Confirm spring-tab material and the exact nut material if critical.
  • M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 identify metric threads. Do not choose by thread size alone; confirm slot opening, internal cavity, nut height, thread engagement and bolt clearance.
  • Source image dimensions apply only to the exact pictured option. Check dimensions rather than assuming interchangeability between profile brands or between nickel-plated and stainless configurations.

Assembly and Custom Requirements

Confirm that the actual slot permits the selected rear-insert nut geometry. Position the spring tab to retain the nut, align the threaded hole with the fastening location, and use an appropriately sized bolt. Check engagement and bottom clearance before tightening. Establish torque and load limits for the complete joint; the spring tab is not a rated lifting or structural retention device.

For custom supply, send the selected SKU and quantity, extrusion cross-section and slot drawing, required thread and engagement, material, surface finish and tolerance requirements.
