HL 45-Steel Nylon-Pin Shaft Couplings

Made-to-order elastic pin couplings with 45-steel hubs and nylon 66 pins. Select HL1, HL2 or HL7 and provide the finished dimensions for both shaft connections. Bore ranges describe custom machining scope, not a fixed supplied bore pair.

Custom Ordering

Provide d1 and d2, bore tolerances, keyways, engagement lengths, shaft-end form and the drawing or sample requirements in Order requirements or contact BOLTTE. Confirm the manufacturing specification before production. Custom processing time is confirmed separately from shipping transit estimates. Any requirement outside the listed model scope needs a separate confirmation before ordering.

Construction and Material

• Two coupling hubs connected through a circumferential nylon-pin arrangement.
• 45-steel hubs, nylon 66 pins and black-oxide finish as identified in the supplier specification.
• Supplier-listed operating-temperature range −20 to 80 °C (−4 to 176 °F). Check the actual duty and supplied assembly.
• Keyway and grub-screw features are shown in the original series photographs. Their final dimensions must match the confirmed drawing.

Drawing and Supplier Reference Tables

The original drawing retains D/D1, shaft-bore labels d1/d2/dz, axial gap S, engagement lengths L/L1 and end-face clearance b. Y, J, J1 and Z identify the indicated shaft-end forms; confirm the exact applicable bore/length combination before machining.

Original numerical rows are retained for supplier reference, including nominal torque Tn in N·m, speed in r/min, rotational inertia in kg·m² and reference mass in kg. HL3–6 and HL8–14 shown in these tables are not selectable offers on this page. The upper edge of the continuation table is already cropped in the supplied source. These reference figures are not an independent test certificate and must be checked for the actual custom configuration.

Selection and Installation

Check torque, speed, shaft fits, keyways, alignment and available space against the confirmed drawing. Isolate equipment before assembly and follow the fastening, pin replacement and inspection requirements for the supplied assembly. No numerical misalignment allowance, universal machine fit, pin-life interval or maintenance-free rating is specified. Original photographs show representative assembly and component views; they do not establish the exact bore or a multi-piece sales pack. Shafts and motors are not included.
